Terence Chan is a self-taught photographer who started doing photography seriously around 2000, when he embarked on a series of nocturnal urban landscapes, culminating in a book "Through a Lens Darkly" published in 2007.

While cities and architecture still remain a big part of his subject matter, Terence has since also developed an interest in more abstract and figurative work. He also likes to experiment with printing photographic images on different media, such as silk, metal and wood.
