Kirsten Welsh graduated with a First Class (Hons) from Edinburgh College of Art in 1999. After graduating she spent 18 months travelling and working in Australia and South East Asia.
Since then she has completed a Post Graduate Certificate of Education at Moray House, Edinburgh and went on to work as an art teacher in Edinburgh and Shetland in a variety of both Primary and Secondary schools. Currently she has a studio at the St Margaret’s House, Edinburgh and works as an art teacher in Midlothian. She has exhibited in various galleries and exhibitions in Scotland and has paintings in private collections in the U.K, Australia and France.
